MY SPANISH LANGUAGE CLASS AT THE C.E.E. IDIOMS IN MADRID, SPAIN
Calle del Carmen, 6, 28013, Madrid, Spain, 31 March 2015
"Buenos dias! Que tal?," are the usual morning greetings we hear everyday in school. We did not have the "introduce yourself" thing at the beginning of the school month, but, somehow, we managed to know each other in the class. The daily 10-minute "pause" or break that our teacher, Sergio, gives us, is not only spent to take coffee from the vending machine in the room next to ours, it is used to know each other and exchange pleasantries. Struggling to understand what one is saying (because we speak different languages and English is not common to all), still, we had the chance for smiles and laughters. It is so sad that as we became more acquainted with each other, the end of the month has come. There is no guarantee that we will still see each other. Though some will stay for the next level, some will have to go back home to their respective countries.
