ST. PETER'S CHURCH, VIENNA, AUSTRIA

St. Peter's Church is one of the most beautiful and impressive churches in Vienna.  This church with Baroque architecture was built by Lukas von Hildebrant at the beginning of the 18th century. For about 1600, Holy Masses are being celebrated daily in this church.  Inside, there are several representations and symbols of the Catholic faith, such as, the: ornate pulpit, fresco in the cupola painted by J.M.Rottmayr, paintings of the Immaculate Concepcion, Our Lady of Help, immaculate Heart of Mary (and, many more), statue of St. Anthony the Padua and of Our Lady of Bunzlau.  Here, also, is the most beautiful Baroque organ in Austria.  Currently, the church offers organ concerts everyday at 3:00 p.m. for free.
